How the price tracking actually works
No vague “save up to” percentages. Here is precisely what happens to an item once it's on one of your lists.
We re-check the price on a schedule
Newly added items are checked every 12 hours. Settled items every 24, and slow-moving ones every 48 — so the things most likely to move get watched hardest.
Every change is written to a history
Each check stores the price and the one before it. That becomes the chart on the item — so you can see whether today’s "deal" is actually below its normal price.
You get told when it drops
A drop of 5% or more triggers an email and an in-app alert by default. You can tighten or loosen that threshold per item, or set your own target price.

What we're not going to tell you
We haven't published an “average saving” figure, because we haven't been running long enough to have one we could stand behind. What you save depends entirely on what you track and how long you track it for. When we have a number backed by real data, we'll publish it here along with how we calculated it.

Price history starts the day you add an item — we can't go back and fill in what a product cost before you were watching it. Add the things you want now, and by the time you need to buy them you'll know whether the price in front of you is actually a good one.
